AirPods continue their life cycle. The second generation was born a few months ago and Apple is working on the next. This could happen before the end of the year and bring with it resistance to water.
A few months ago, Apple launched the second generation of AirPods, with some improvements compared to its predecessors. Rumors also evoked a water-resistant model being prepared. According to analyst Daniel Ives of Wedbush, this one would still be scheduled for 2019.
AirPods resistant to water before the end of the year?
According to his research note, these new AirPods would come out in time for the end of the year holidays. In addition to their resistance to water, they even propose some changes in their design. It’s hard to know what it’s all about. The first two generations are similar, and they themselves look like the traditional headphones of the Cupertino company, without the cables.
It may seem odd that Apple is launching two AirPods in the same year. We also imagine very well the grumbling of some users to see a new model land so soon after. That being said, it could be that the apple brand has not finished with headphones and headphones.
